About Me
I am a postdoctoral researcher within the Oxford Martin School’s Digital Pandemic Preparedness programme, supervised by Professor Christl Donnelly and Professor Moritz Kraemer.
Building upon my background in Veterinary Medicine and postgraduate training in Epidemiology, my research has primarily focused on understanding the transmission dynamics of animal and zoonotic infectious diseases, including avian influenza, African swine fever, and Rift Valley fever.
Research Interests
My current research explores the integration of diverse epidemiological data sources, including digital data streams, to improve our understanding of the complex dynamics underlying infectious disease transmission.

Postdoctoral Researcher
About Me
After completing both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics at the University of Trento (Italy), I have done a PhD in statistics at the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy). My doctoral research primarily focused on Bayesian statistics applied to scRNA-seq data for estimating RNA velocity. Additionally, I worked on statistical tests for high-dimensional semicontinuous data and chemical reaction networks. During my PhD, I also spent a research period in Catalina Vallejos’s Lab at the University of Edinburgh, where I worked on survival analysis and investigated the impact of delayed diagnosis on survival outcomes. Here in Oxford, I am a member of the Pioneer Centre for SMARTbiomed and of the Department of Statistics, working under the supervision of Professor Peter Visscher and Professor Pier Palamara.
