Dr Younjung Kim

Postdoctoral Researcher

About Me

I am a postdoctoral researcher within the Oxford Martin School’s Digital Pandemic Preparedness programme, supervised by Professor Christl Donnelly and Professor Moritz Kraemer.

Building upon my background in Veterinary Medicine and postgraduate training in Epidemiology, my research has primarily focused on understanding the transmission dynamics of animal and zoonotic infectious diseases, including avian influenza, African swine fever, and Rift Valley fever.

Research Interests

My current research explores the integration of diverse epidemiological data sources, including digital data streams, to improve our understanding of the complex dynamics underlying infectious disease transmission.
