Undergraduate Study
The BA and MMath Mathematics and Statistics combine the strengths of the traditional Oxford Mathematics degrees with the ability to pursue probability and statistics in depth. If you are interested in studying how we can use data and what the applications of mathematics and statistics are to the world we live in, this is the course for you.
Master's degrees
We offer two Master's degree courses: the MSc Statistical Science, and Oxford Masters in Mathematical Sciences (OMMS).
Statistical Science has a particular focus on modern computationally-intensive theory and methods and will aim to train you to solve real-world statistical problems.
OMMS provides a broad and flexible training in the mathematical sciences, and gives students with a keen interest in the mathematical sciences the chance to study a selection of our interesting and varied master’s level courses.
Graduate Research
We offer a DPhil in Statistics as well as admitting students to the CDTs in STATML, Mathematics of Random Systems, Sustainable Approaches to Biomedical Science, and Health Data Science Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT).
