Since graduating from Oxford University, Yuchen Xia has developed a career in the financial industry as a professional investor and business builder. Yuchen is passionate toward developing and delivering trustworthy and efficient solutions by combining investment knowhows and innovative data science techniques.

Yuchen is founder and managing director of New Horizon Global Advisory, a FCA authorised and regulated boutique investment management firm which provides bespoke financial service to institutional and individual clients. Yuchen has also co-founded Genuine Impact, a data platform that specialises in developing technologies and tools that generates high-quality investment intelligence, market insights, data visualisation and media content through automation and artificial intelligence.  

Prior to his entrepreneurial experience, Yuchen has also worked for various leading financial institutions. Yuchen started his investment career as a multi-asset portfolio manager at BlackRock, where he was responsible for managing investments for some of the firm’s largest clients in EMEA. In 2015 Yuchen joined Moneyfarm, one of Europe’s leading digital wealth managers, as an early member of its UK operation where he helped to build the firm’s investment capability and strategic partnerships.

Yuchen also currently holds board positions at several businesses in education and sports industry.
