Joint Stats/Maths/Computer Science Careers Event

The Department's annual Careers Workshop will be held in person on Friday 17th June 2022 from 2.00 pm - 5.30 pm at the Mathematical Institute.  The event is run for postdocs and graduate students in the Department to help inform them with making career choices.  This year's event is in collaboration with the Mathematical Institute and Department of Computer Science.  

2.00 pm       Hugh Nicholson-Lailey, Oxford University's Careers Service A short introduction from the University Careers Service looking at today’s labour market beyond academia, ideas on the essential skills needed, and how to develop your thinking, explore your ideas and enhance employability. 
2.25 pm Keynote Talk 1 Dr Anjali Mazumder, Alan Turing Institute, Theme Lead on AI and Justice & Human Rights
