The Doucet-Deligiannidis (D^2) group is a research group led by Arnaud Doucet and George Deligiannidis. Our research spans a number of topics in computational statistics and machine learning, including deep learning, Bayesian inference, generative modeling, learning theory, probability, optimization and Monte Carlo methods.

We typically meet on Thursday at 11am during term time to discuss research topics that are relevant to the members of the group. Each meeting lasts for about an hour and the person presenting is free to choose a topic of their choice (e.g. their own work, a paper they have recently read or a general introduction to a research field they are interested in).

You can find recordings of some past talks on our YouTube channel.

Please feel free to contact the organisers should you have any questions about attending the reading group.
