Further Statistical Methods - Lecture 2

Graphical and log-linear models

Markov properties for graphical  and log-linear models are introduced and the relation between them. Algorithms for fitting log-linear models are touched upon.

Edwards (2002), Chapter 2 is the most relevant to read.

I have some old lecture notes, but they have been very popular for many years:

S. L. Lauritzen. Lectures on Contingency Tables. Univ. Cop. Inst. Math. Stat., 1979. 2nd ed. Aalborg University Press 1982. 3rd ed. Department of Mathematics, Aalborg 1989. Electronic edition 2002 (pdf).

They could be helpful for you.
