Expert systems and Bayesian networks

Lecture

The first part of the lecture will give further details about the directed Markov property and its relation to the undirected property.

The second part of the lecture will give an overview about what expert systems are, what is the role of probability in this context, and what is a Bayesian network.

The closest  text can be found in Chapter 2 of [PNES], pp. 5-23.
