Co-Director of OxWaSP, Associate Professor of Statistics
Tutorial Fellow at Keble College
I completed my PhD in Information Engineering at the University of Lille (France) in 2006, and spent two years as a post-doctoral researcher in the Departments of Computer Science and Statistics at the University of British Columbia (2006-2008). Then I joined INRIA (Bordeaux, France) as a Research Scientist (Charge de Recherche) in 2008. In 2013, I moved to Oxford, first as a Marie Curie Research Fellow (2013-2015) then as an Associate Professor in Statistics and Tutorial Fellow at Keble College (2015-present).
- Statistical machine learning
- Computational statistics
- Bayesian statistics
- Bayesian nonparametrics
- Network analysis
I am interested in the development of statistical models and computational procedures for the analysis of structured data. I have a particular interest in Bayesian nonparametrics and Monte Carlo methods.
