Further Statistical Methods - Hilary Term 2006

These pages will contain links to overheads, examples, practicals and other material relevant to the above lecture course.

Lectures will take place Wednesday 11-12 in weeks 1-6 and Friday 8.50-9.50, weeks 1,2,4,5, in the Lecture Room, SPR 1.

Here is a preliminary overview of the lectures. Watch for changes and modifications as time proceeds.

Practical exercises will be held on Friday afternoon in week 2 and week 3.

The overheads will generally be available before the lecture via this site, so you can print them out, bring them and use them for annotations. Please note that they most likely (but unintentionally) will contain serious misprints and mistakes, so you will have to work critically through them.
