BS2 Statistical Inference - Michaelmas Term 2004

These pages will contain links to overheads, problem sheets, and other material relevant to the above lecture course.

Lectures will take place Monday 2-3 pm and Friday 12-1pm in the Mathematical Institute, Lecture Room 2.

Here is a preliminary overview of the lectures. Watch for changes and modifications as time proceeds.

Classes will be held in weeks 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and solutions to problem sheets must be handed in no later than Friday of the previous week at 3 pm in the box marked for that purpose in the Department of Statistics, 1 South Parks Road.

The overheads will generally be available before the lecture via this site, so you can print them out, bring them and use them for annotations. Please note that they most likely (but unintentionally) will contain serious misprints and mistakes, so you will have to work critically through them.
