Daniel Moss

StatML CDT student

About Me

I am a fourth year StatML student, with a focus on Bayesian statistics, particularly in latent variable models. Prior to joining the CDT, I studied for my undergraduate and master's degree in mathematics at Cambridge. In my spare time, I enjoy running and spending time outdoors with friends and family.

Research Interests

My research up to this point has mainly focused around theoretical aspects of Bayesian estimation of HMMs, in particular Bernstein-von Mises and posterior contraction. More recently, I have become interested in the more methodological and applied side, involving a slightly broader class of models, but still under the umbrella of Bayesian statistics.
