University Open Days
The University of Oxford hosts Open Days every year. These are a good opportunity to have a look around both Departments and Colleges.
In 2017, the Statistics department will be open on the afternoon of Saturday 29th April as part of the Mathematical Institute’s Departmental Open Day. There will be talks on statistics and the opportunity to talk to academics working in the department. Registration is essential.
Statistics will also be open in the afternoons on the Wednesday 28th June, Thursday 29th June and Friday 15th September as part of the University Open Days. There will be regular tours around the department, a short talk on studying Statistics at Oxford and the opportunity to talk to academics in the department. Most of the Department of Statistics’ Open Day activity is combined with the Mathematical Institute. These activities include drop-in talks from 10.00-12.00 which is repeated in the afternoon from 14.00-16.00. Further information is available on both the University Open Days and on the program of talks that will be offered in the Mathematics Institute in the morning. There is no need to book. Simply come to 24-29 St Giles’ from 2:45- 4:30pm.
