DPhil in Statistics student

About Me

I am a final year DPhil student in the Oxford Protein Informatics Group in the Department of Statistics, on the Systems Approaches to Biomedical Sciences (SABS) CDT program. My thesis is in collaboration with UCB Pharma and is entitled "Leveraging antibody sequencing data to design therapeutic antibodies". I am interested in how we can utilise sequence and structural information to develop antibodies as useful medicines. In Spring 2022, I took a 3 month leave of absence from my PhD to work at a start-up developing shelf-stable vaccines to address global vaccine inequality. I hold a Masters degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry (University of Oxford) with a focus on genetics and immunology, and worked in life sciences consulting prior to my PhD.
