Adrian Martini

DPhil in Statistics student

About Me

I am a DPhil student in the Department of Statistics under Alison Etheridge. My research focusses on interacting, spatial populations, stochastic fluctuations and chemotaxis. Particularly, I am interested in extending standard tools of stochastic analysis and population modelling to understand biological systems. I have a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Bonn. I am supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council Doctoral Training Partnership and by the Lamb & Flag Scholarship of St John’s College, Oxford.

Research Interests

  • Mathematical biology, population modelling
  • (Singular) stochastic partial differential equations
