Mariagrazia Zottoli

Statistical Consultant

Biographical Sketch

I am a statistician with a background in statistical modelling and analysis along with database design and management. I have a particular interest in social statistics, multilevel and generalised models, and visualisations.

Working as a Statistical Consultant for Oxford Statistical Consultancy Unit (OxUSC), I handle different types of clients internal and external to the University of Oxford and this ensures a high level of variety in my everyday job. Consequently, I have developed the ability to cooperate with a wide variety of stakeholders and to communicate statistical findings to a non-technical audience.

I am an experienced R-programmer and extensively use R to build models, create data visualizations, and carry out multivariate analyses – I am also one of the organisers of R Users Group in Oxford.
