COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – Departmental Information
Department of Statistics
Following guidance from the University, the process of returning to onsite working has begun and the Department is currently in phase 2 of opening the St Giles Building.
All staff and students are being asked to look after themselves and others as the Department returns for Michaelmas term. A full risk assessment has been conducted and can be viewed on the intranet. A range of guidance has been developed by the University, reminding us of our personal and collective responsibility for keeping the University and local community safe. In particular, you are asked to:
- Keep your distance
- Wash your hands
- Wear a face covering
- Got symptoms? Get a test
- Contacted by track and trace? Stay at home
Information about the guidance is now available on the coronavirus health pages, and a short video has also been produced. The materials have been developed with input from the University’s medical and behavioural experts, and in consultation with staff and students across the collegiate University.
For anyone returning to work please be aware that the rules may change as new information and guidance becomes available and that we may have to close the building again at short notice.
