NEWS (Week 2 of HT11) The third assessed practical is available below. This is due in 12 noon on Tuesday week 7 HT11. The next practical teaching sessions this term are this week 5:30-7:30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. They are in the Isis room of the OUCS at 13 Banbury Road. There are further sessions in HT11 week 7.
BS1 assessed practical hand-in times: 12 noon on Tuesday week 8 MT10, Tuesday week 2 HT11,
Tuesday week 7 HT11, Friday, week 1 TT11 (questions go out at the time of the previous teaching lab).
These four assessed practicals make up 34% of your USM for BS1.
The first assessed practical problems and data are now available.

The practicals assume familiarity with R. This is one of the subjects of the practical
teaching sessions. R is free high quality software for statistical computing, available
for download here.
