
I work at the University of Oxford, where I am a Departmental Lecturer in Actuarial Science at the Department of Statistics and a research associate at the Centre for the Study of African Economies (CSAE). I also work with the World Bank's Insurance For The Poor Unit and Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery and IFPRI's Markets, Trade and Institutions Division.
I am a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
Teaching
I lecture Actuarial Science II and Poverty, Risk and Insurance in Trinity term.
Research
My research is on financial contracting in developing countries, with strong links to development economics, decision under uncertainty, financial theory and actuarial science.
