Dr John Bithell
Dr John F. Bithell
retired in 2004 after 35
years of research and teaching of mathematics and statistics in the Department of Statistics and at St Peter’s College in the University of Oxford. He is still active
in both teaching and research and has a continuing link with the Department of
Statistics. He is also an Honorary Visiting Fellow of the Childhood Cancer Research
Group in Oxford, where he actively
collaborates with scientists working on various aspects of the epidemiology of
childhood cancer.
