Our facilities

The self-contained lower ground floor conference suite includes a lecture theatre seating up to 120 people, a small lecture room for up to 34 people and an IT & Teaching suite for up to 48 people plus one small meeting rooms. Full IT and audio/visual support is available including projectors, LCD wall mounted screens and touchscreens and induction loop audio support. There is also the option to record talks and to stream to other meeting rooms. All rooms are fully wheelchair accessible, and the main entrance has a wheelchair ramp.

On the ground floor, the light and airy modern social area looks out across St Giles’ and is well equipped to host coffee breaks and drinks receptions for up to 120 people. A buffet lunch can also be provided for up to 60 people seated or up to 100 people standing.  With strong links to many of our neighbouring colleges, the option for accommodation and evening dinners would be very easy to provide for residential conferences.

The department is perfectly situated for easy access to the centre of Oxford as well as the bustling coffee shops and restaurants of Jericho.

Catering

The Department of Statistics uses a variety of local and sustainable caterers including Waste2Taste, Gail's Bakery and Oxford Fine Dining who are able to cater for a wide variety of dietary requirements.
